Software/ SNMP Connectivity and Management
A comprehensive range of close-down software and management products are available for applications from a single PC to a network in excess of 100 servers. Software can be configured for prioritising the shut-down of the servers, ensuring battery run-time can be maximised to support the critical servers/ network and communications equipment. Using common communications protocol (TCP/IP), standardised management and monitoring across the widest possible range of operating systems is achieved.
The software can be user configured for event scheduling and network broadcasting.
SNMP management is also available allowing the integrated SNMP agent to send all the UPS information and generate traps. This allows the user to integrate and manage the UPS with compatible SNMP management platforms which include HP Open View, Novell Managewise and IBM NetView.
A range of additional monitoring options eg temperature, leak detection etc are also available.
